I have seen him since 2002 when I injured my left foot working ambulance ....and in 2016 i had multiple surgeries on my right foot, he was trying to get my bones to grow back. It took me 24 years, after my initial injury, to find Dr. Mitchell. After years of ankle braces, orthotics, injections, bad radiologist readings, and progressive weakness, pain, and instability I am so very grateful to Dr. Mitchell. My posterior tendon had ruptured somewhere along the way, and retracted taking my muscle along with it. Also, ligament problems on the outer ankle. He fixed that and did a hindfoot fusion, as well. What a miraculous difference this has made for me. His expertise, medical brilliance, and surgical skills went beyond my expectations. I like his sense of humor, too. Dr. Mitchell is a truly outstanding surgeon. As a side note: My cast got wet, I freaked out, called the emergency number. Dr. Mitchell called right back, at 9:00 at night, calmed me down and had me come in the next morning... Awesomeness!!!

Dr. Mitchell is very pleasant to interact with. He took the time to explain the extensive problems with my foot. The office was very efficient. I was in and out in 35 minutes. That included reception time, x-rays and doctors visit. That was great!

1st appt set up and 1st visit were both a wonderful experience. I was scared about what prognosis would be. Dr Mitchel and staff set me at ease immediately. Dr Mitchel listened to my need to fix the foot and hike bike and be active, and normal. Dr Mitchel described his preferred treatment plan and an alternative and I liked his plan. Surgery scheduled quickly. Insurance concerns all addressed. I feel I am and will continue to be cared for by a competent and compassionate doctor and staff.
